The SheSaid 2026-2027 in the Philippines Campaign was officially launched on 27 September 2026, bringing together Wiki Women Filipinas, volunteers, and advocates committed to amplifying the voices and stories of women in free knowledge.
Organized by the PhilWiki Community, the campaign runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027 and invites everyone to contribute to Wikiquote by creating, improving, and adding quotable quotes of notable women and their contributions to society.
The Philippine edition of the She Said 2026 Campaign aims to enrich the platforms of free knowledge — notably Wikiquote, Wikipedia and Wikidata — it gives tribute to the words, ideas, and achievements of inspiring women, including Filipinas, thus bridging the gender gap still present in the digital world. Last year marks the first participation of WikiWomen Filipinas and the PhilWiki Community.
Through training sessions, community activities, and the 100 Quotes in 100 Days Challenge, participants will help address gender gaps in online knowledge while making the achievements, ideas, and experiences of Filipino women more visible and accessible to readers around the world.
During the launch, top contributors from the She Said 2025 Campaign in the Philippines received recognition and prizes, inspiring new participants. In its inaugural year, the campaign generated 487 new articles and 1,401 quotations, demonstrating the collective impact of volunteers in documenting and sharing women’s voices.
