Micro-enterprises and nonprofit organizations turned the street named after the first Filipino bishop Jorge Imperial Barlin into a car-free community space on Saturday, February 21st, drawing families, students, artists and creatives for the Carless Saturday event.

Sumaro Bikolnon and Nueva Caceres Heritage Movement Inc. gave away free copies of Dawani and Amitad magazines to lucky booth visitors. PhilWiki Community hosted a trivia quiz on history and Wikipedia-related topics in celebration of the 25th year of the free online encyclopedia.

The outreach activity is the first participation of the heritage groups comprising five organizations namely Sumaro Bikolnon, NCHMI, United Architects of the Philippines-Camarines, Bicol Guerrilla Museum, and PhilWiki Community.

The city events and tourism office noted the growing number of attendees since its first rollout last November 2025. It reportedly promotes eco-friendly habits and stronger community bonds. Mayor and former Vice President Leni Robredo said the activity brought a strong sense of togetherness to the city.
