PhilWiki Community is set to visit more GLAM institutions this summer to gather photographs of artifacts and collections to illustrate Wikipedia articles.
GLAM stands for galleries, libraries, archives and museums. Wikimedians help these institutions share their resources with the world through collaborative projects with experienced Wikipedia editors.
In a few months, the community headed by GLAM committee program chair will be going to the province of Albay to visit the National Museum of the Philippines in Daraga and Legazpi City Museum to collect free licensed images.
The community has visited and documented displayed collections at the National Museum of Anthropology, NM of Natural History, and NM of Fines Arts in Manila; and University of Nueva Caceres Museum, Museo Historico de la Universidad de Sta. Isabel, Museo ni Jesse Robredo, and Museo del Seminario Conciliar de Nueva Caceres in Naga City.
